Contemporary Metal Bowls and Vessels |
David designs and makes contemporary and sculptural bowls and vessels using a variety of metals. All are inspired by the natural beauty of Dorset's Jurassic Coast where he lives. He has a particular fascination with the unique, ancient and layered geology of the coast's rock formations, and the abundance of fossils found within. As with all his smaller work, his bowls are highly detailed and designed to highlight the use of creative joinery, rich textures, contrasting metals and contrasting finishes.
