This rusty and weathered steel bowl is from
David's
collection of work inspired by Dorset's Jurassic Coast; a world heritage site famed for it's unique geology.
The texture of the metal was inspired by the rock formations found along the coast. The flaky rusty finish reflects the layered sedimentary nature of the rocks and the shape of the bowl suggests ammonite fossils found in them.
