A2 Bowl Forged from Heavy Duty Steel Plate

This contemporary iron bowl is made by rough cutting a piece of heavy duty steel plate with a gas flame to create the waney textured edges. The metal is then selectively forged so that some of the scallops are thinned and overlapped as the steel spreads.

The edges are polished to act as an accent and counterpoint to the more pitted texture of the darker interior.
