This heart sculpture was made by
David Hyde by fusing two very different metals together as a deeply symbolic Valentine's Day present.
The golden aluminium-bronze contrasts wonderfully with the copper, but the polished metals still also compliment each other.
David took special care to ensure the transition between the metals was a gradual and subtle blend.

The last picture also shows a pair of Kintsugi inspired "healed broken hearts" made with copper, bronze, aluminium-bronze and stainless steel.
