Well despite being a gnarled old blacksmith, I guess I do have a bit of a softer romantic side.
Here's a Valentines Day present I made for Cathy, the love of my life.
I do like the symbolism of two different metals (copper and aluminium-bronze) being fused together to make a single heart ... and for good
measure I've hidden a very special message inside it!

I also particularly love the extra symbolism of "complementary contrast" between the copper and the aluminium-bronze. 🙂.
