This contemporary steel stair balustrade was designed and commissioned for a stone staircase and gallery. Its flowing curves were shaped by forging the metal whilst hot.
It is a development of the previously commissioned balustrade shown here.
Both have a similar curvilinear design except the gaps in this
balustrade meet the "100mm building regulation". Both balustrades used welded
joints for simplicity but more creative joinery can be seen in the balustrade shown here.
The owner also commissioned the complementary balustrade shown here for another spiral staircase in the property.
