This decorative steel grapevine was commissioned as a sculptural feature piece for the doors of a wine cellar.
The bespoke leaves and grapes were hand made; each is unique and original. The detailed stems were forged using custom made hammers to give an expressive worked texture. A coating of protective wax was applied to the forged metal to enhance its tones and textures.
