Forged and Worked Bronze

These are some trial pieces made during the development of a commission. The darker metal is silicon bronze, whilst the more yellow one is aluminium bronze. They illustrate the natural textures, tones and patinas that occur when bronze is forged and worked. Some areas have been selectively highlighted with a light polish.
