The unique and unusual character of this period property called for a handrail that was equally as unique and characterful.
Although the railings essentially consist of only support posts and handrails, the Art Nouveau inspired design becomes a voluminous river of curves cascading and flowing down the stairs.
No straight lines are used in the handrail; it is an asymmetric sculpture full of movement that draws the eye along to follow the dramatic and sweeping curves.
