R41 Contemporary Arts and Crafts Railings

The key to the design and making of these Arts and Crafts inspired railings was attention to detail. The guiding principles of the Arts and Crafts from the mid 19th century were simple design combined with fine craftsmanship.

Time honoured blacksmithing techniques were used to make the railings and can be seen in the hand forged detailing such as the hot punched holes and split metal buds.
