The copper
fountain and sculpture shown here was specially commissioned by a customer who liked both
this water iris, and the
texture of the bulrushes in
this sculpture.
The hand forged iris was carefully formed to allow water to flow over the petals then cascade into the pool below. The iris bud was shaped to hold a garden light.
Over time the copper will
weather into a dark brown oxidised finish and gradually develop a natural
blue-green verdigris patina.
