B101 Flowing Metal Railings for a Curved Terrace

No straight lines were used to create these sweeping and flowing metal railings for a stone terrace. Not only is the design of the railings curved, but the railings follow a curved path around the terrace and down the stairs. The resulting compound curves are time consuming and tricky to form and require constant checking as they are skillfully shaped inch by inch.

The railings have a galvanised finish for decades of rust prevention and have been artificially aged with an acid wash.
