H80 Tulip Themed Stair Railings

The design of these stair railings was an evolution of a previous commission. Our customer had a passion for all things "tulip" and asked if we could incorporate their flowers and buds into this project.

The design is a pleasing juxtaposition of straight lines and curves. Special tooling was developed to hot forge the tulips and buds. The railings were finished by burnishing the steel with a wire brush and then applying a protective coating of wax to enhance the tones and textures of the metal.
