This unique bronze vessel is part of David Hyde's study of the traditional technique of cire perdue or lost wax casting.
Conventionally, wax is sculpted and modelled before being replaced with molten bronze as part of the casting process.
However, David is continually experimenting and researching alternative
materials to model with. Hand made vintage lace was used to model this vessel.
