The design of this commission was developed from the railings shown on
this page, which were modified to feature long sweeping elongated curves.
Their posts are set with resin directly into the brickwork, with back stays strengthening the fixings.
The shape of the back stays hints at growing seedlings and complements the flowing "look" of the design.
Verdigris' signature leaf
wrapped joinery secures the railings to the posts and adds to the
forged
detailing on display throughout the work.
The finish is aged and weathered
galvanised steel.
