Typically,
David's preferred finish for his garden sculpture is weathered
galvanised
steel.
However, very occasionally a rusty finish can be more appropriate, as evidenced by these large and dramatic cherry sculptures.
The largest of the sculptures is 110cm tall with 30cm diameter cherries, whilst the smallest is 65cm tall with 15cm cherries.
The sculptures feature a spike fixed to the lower cherry that is driven into the ground, allowing the other cherry to float in space.
However, they can be made without a spike so, if preferred, they can simply lie on the ground or
lean against a wall.
