This galvanised
steel bench was commissioned for a very tranquil and
contemplative pondside setting ... so comfort was a major design consideration.
The steel sections chosen to build the bench lend it a lithe and graceful look that belies its strength. Aspects of the design that could affect the comfort include the angle of the back,
the positioning of the armrests, the upwards tilt of the seat base and how the base rolls off along the front edge of the bench.
The bench's discreet leaf detailing and curved profile complement the design of the
previously commissioned railings adjacent to the bench.
