H76 Mixed Metal Forest and Dappled Sunlight Sculpture

"... stylish, elegant, and bespoke metalwork ..."

Forest House, Chester

This mixed metal wall sculpture was commissioned for the Forest House restaurant in Chester.

The tree is made from forged steel which has been textured to suggest bark. This contrasts with the copper, brass and stainless steel panels behind it that hint at dappled sunlight passing through the leaves of a forest glade. The sculpture is a complementary blend of metals, textures and finishes.

The work was photographed before it was finally installed; better photographs will follow later.

The sculpture suggests dappled sunlight shining through trees
