This sculpture was commissioned by a small boutique in Manchester that was named after
Pygar, the angel in the film Barbarella.
The wings were made from heat coloured copper, steel and brass with
iridescently coloured titanium for detailing. A gold spray painted shop mannequin was used for the body.
