S108 Fire Breathing Bronze and Stainless Steel Dragon Sculpture

"... stylish, elegant, and bespoke metalwork ..."

Available

David Hyde creates his dragon sculptures by welding small pieces of Stainless steel and bronze which are seamlessly blended to create a wide range of tones and textures. Special techniques were developed to fuse the metals together giving the dragons a rich palette of subtly blended shades of gold and silver. An expressive range of textures is used to create their "hides" which are deeply polished, allowing the different coloured metals to beautifully reflect the dragon's fire . The eyes are amethyst gem stones which spectacularly come to life when they catch the light. Propane is used for the dragon's fire which is piped through her body to a discreet nozzle on the base of her tongue.

No two of the dragons David makes are ever the same because of the way they are made; each is very much a limited edition of one!
