Whilst the design of this pair of handmade gates is relatively understated, it features a series of carefully placed, hand
forged leaves. The leaves are made using traditional
blacksmithing skills; each one is unique and individual. Similarly detailed leaves are used for the latch and drop bolts. Since these
parts are usually the first point of contact a customer has with our gates, it is
important that both should both look and feel "special".
The gates were
galvanised
for decades of rust protection then finished with a dark grey textured
micaceous iron oxide paint that complements the stone work of their Lakeland setting.
