Big Leaves

"... Verdigris; where engineering becomes art ..."

<< Blog; 4th Dec 2014 >>

This balustrade for a Juliet balcony was designed to meet building regulations re the "100mm gap rule", yet still have an element of creativity and individuality to it. My customers were attracted to the sculptural look that the forged leaves have, which also distracts from the regimented look of a row of plain uprights.

I often use this style of leaves for some of my commissions ... just not normally this big. They are around 6" to 8" across. I'll post better picture when the commission is installed
